1:PRODUCTS
Are they safe and good quality?
Pepper Ink uses safe tattoo transfer papers compliant with Australian Standards AS/NZS ISO 8124.3:2003, and specially developed high-tech digital printing technology to produce high image quality and a long-lasting transfer. So yep and yep.
How are my temporary tattoos packaged?
All the items in your order will be combined in a single eco-friendly pack. If you'd like individual packaging for each item, just leave us a note at checkout.
What is Liquiskin® ?
Liquiskin® Tattoo Shine Remover takes away the shiny look and adds a second skin film layer over your tattoo to make it look better and last longer! You can add Liquiskin® to your order by purchasing a Liquiskin® sachet in the online store. Your tattoo will look great without it; but for special events, photoshoots, or just if you want your tattoo to look as ace as possible, we recommend Liquiskin® . Liquiskin® contains Ethyl Cellulose and Castor Oil, do not apply to sensitive skin or near eyes. Apply a light layer over your tattoo design once it has dried on the skin, and admire the aceness!
How do I apply my designs?
Applying Pepper Ink tattoos is super simple.
1.Make sure your skin is clean and dry. Peel off the transparent backing and place design side down on your skin.
2.Hold a wet cloth on the backing paper for 30 seconds. Try not to rush. Peel off paper backing and let your tattoo dry.
3. If you have liquiskin, brush lightly over the design once it’s dry and wait 10 seconds. Admire the aceness!
How long will it last?
Your Pepper Ink temporary tattoo will last 2-5 days without an application of Liquiskin®, up to 10 days with Liquiskin®. The lifetime of your tattoo also depends on placement and what you get up to every day, avoid hot water as it can melt the adhesive and shorten the life of your design.
I love it but how can I get it off?
To remove your Pepper Ink temporary tattoo, try one of these:
* take a strip of sticky tape and place over the edge of your tattoo, rub and peel it away. Tattoos which have been on a while or have liquiskin will need more tape to fully remove.
* soak a little in baby oil or eucalyptus oil diluted in water, and wash off; or wipe with an alcohol swab.
* use good ol’ soap and scrubbing brush in the shower, working from the edges in.
2: CUSTOM & EVENTS
How can I order a custom tattoo?
You can purchase a ‘custom tattoo’ in the store in one of 3 sizes, or a ‘custom name tattoo’. If you'd like multiple custom tattoos email us your image and sizes (petina@pepperink.com.au) and we will reply with a combined quote. Custom designs are great to try out placement of a planned tattoo, celebrate an occasion or as a personalised gift! Please allow 1 week for your your custom tattoo to be created and shipped.
I'd like designs for my event!
We can provide designs for your wedding, anniversary, birthday, bacherlorette party, garden party, baby shower- gosh anything you can think of! Have an old-school tattoo booth, or tattoos on each table, props for your photo booth or lovely customised favors for each guest. You can choose from our range of designs or provide your own design to match your theme or occasion. They're lots of fun! 3: SHIPPING & RETURNS
How much is shipping?
All prices on the website include FREE standard shipping worldwide (no tracking). Your Pepper Ink temporary tattoos are shipped from Melbourne, Australia.
Express shipping with tracking is $5 for Australia and $42 express worldwide with tracking.
When will they arrive?
It will take 1-7 business days to process your in-store tattoo orders and tattoo paper before shipping, regardless of the shipping option selected at checkout. If you need it quicker then this contact us and we'll see what we can do.
We ship Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and holidays. Custom order takes about 1-5 business days to process, so you will get your designs in a jiffy!
Standard shipping times within Australia is usually 2-10 business days, and to Europe & the U.S. is generally between 8-18 business days. Please note that AU Post are having issues right now due to COVID restrictions and standard shipping can take longer than usual to most places.
Express shipping times within Australia is usually 1-3 business days, and to Europe & the US is approx. 1 week. Express shipping with AU Post are having delays right now. (please note that there is a 1-7 business day process time before shipping express orders. If you need this asap. please email us at petina@pepperink.com.au and I'll see if we can expedite your order.)
